Arsenic (As)

Arseinc is a gray-coloured metal that usually combines with other elements such as chlorine, oxygen, and sulfur to form inorganic arsenic and with hydrogen and carbon to form organic arsenic.

Arsenic is a well known poison that can lead to death. It can also lead to lung and skin cancer. In earlier times, contact to paint with colour produced from arsenic would lead to a slow poisoning that could take years.

Effects of the intake of arsenic may include nausea, vomitting and pain in the digestive part of the intestines, under-production of blood cells and damage to blood vessels and abnormal functioning of heart, nerves, liver and kidney.

But also skin contact alone can lead to burning and itching skin and rashes.

Sort all waters by Arsenic.
