I don't like this water; especially at room temperature tastes awful. The best of this mark comes from Puebla source, although the majority of production is from Colonia Xalostoc, Ecatepec which is the northern part of Mexico City. This source is nothing more then the city tap water.

Penafiel is easy to find and the most common mineral water in Mexico. The gas is a bit too strong for my liking. It tastes better AFTER some of the gas has died off. It's good, but not the best. The best would be Garci-Crespo or Topo Chico.

Penafiel waters come from thaws of Popocatepetl and Iztacihuatl volcanos. another source of spring water is the coyame lagoon in Veracruz. If you want to find high quality mineral water you should search for places like Coyame in Veracruz, or Los Azufres in Michoacan and of course, tehuacan in Puebla state.

Peñafiel was born in one of the best natural places in México, If you can ever see this site you will see this natural mineral source.
